9. Future Trends In HR Digitalization

  • Because of the popularity of social networking sites, most individuals utilize them. As a result, HR management will pay close attention to their workers' behavior on those sites. When developing recruitment and decision-making procedures, HR Management will evaluate that person's social media conduct (BasuMallick, 2021).
  •  Because of the ongoing expansion of compliance and reporting obligations, the government may seek additional information concerning pending taxes, financial reports, health care, equal employment, and so on. As a result of digitization, government organizations may be able to request certain reports online (Broth, 2020).
  • In the future, rent vs. buy decisions may occur. The HR department must purchase associated software from suppliers at an early age. However, when the company's cloud-computing capabilities expand, HR will be able to rent them. Buying and renting decisions can be challenged in the near future (Armstrong, 2006)
  • Also, the privacy concerns can be increase. Now most companies use websites that accessible to the employees. There personal information includes in that web pages. But organizational details can only access by the HR members. But now the risk is generated about the safety of the information. HR teams will hire proper web protection agents in near future to make the information safe (Henderson, 2017).
  • Changes in HR personnel capabilities are likely in the near future. Because online consulting is an absolute necessity for the HR department. These new employment responsibilities will need a greater understanding of both HRM and digitalization. Because more firms are realizing that HR's inefficient conduct has merged with the IT department. As a result, most employers increasingly require high levels of IT competence from HRM applicants (Strohmeier, 2020).
