1. What is Digitalization In HRM (INTRO)

The use of data base systems (Cloud technologies), social media, analytical software, and mobile applications to replace the traditional paper-based system, data centralization, and assessing processes and services may be defined as digitalization of Human Resource Management (HRM). Simply put, this term refers to the transition from paper documents to digital screens (Broth, 2020).

Companies can increase their working efficiency and ease of access to information because of technological advancement. Searching time is much reduced because of this new technical advancement. This technical advancement allows for easy monitoring of staff involvement and activity (Armstrong, 2006).

Most businesses are still hesitant to adopt this technology advancement, but most prominent businesses are already doing so to make the HRM process more efficient and transparent. The cloud-based system is a critical component of the contemporary industry. Some of the most important tools include cloud-based Human Capital Management (HCM) systems and talent management solutions (Metrices, 2021). Companies that use a digital Human Resource(HR) strategy strive for a cloud-first, mobile-first, data-driven, and collaborative culture in order to deliver business plans and engage people. Also By capturing their day-to-day performance, digital HR solutions are used to manage employees and track their employee lifetime.

Furthermore, most firms utilize fingerprint and face identification systems to track employee attendance, and these systems connect to a centralized cloud and properly record the information (Garrett, 2022). Employees benefit from digitization as well since they can access their personal details such as working hours, incentive levels, performance, and wages through Systems Applications and Product (SAP) systems. Employee trust in the organization has grown as a result of this.
